"Staying home and creating every single day, more than ever. I started having left over paint from mixing and some extras canvas and paper pieces laying around. I repurposed all this left over mixed paint and materials that I had and made a series of flowers. He [Cory Kennedy] asked to see them, I already had around 14 flowers made up so I put em’ all together and sent him some photos. He loved them! We were talking about the flowers being on a skateboard, he asked “would you be down if I sent them to Girl?” I got in contact with Sam and Gordy back in August and I explained my process and we talked about making them into boards. Now I’m here writing this in January with tons of excitement. I hope everyone enjoys the Blooming Series and my art technique" - Caleb Gutierrez
